Credit City Limits for going the extra mile to interpret the recently released data that shows the Bronx with more evictions over the past two years than any other borough.

Acting Public Advocate and Council Speaker Corey Johnson who had released the original report, indicated in the article that despite disappointing Bronx results, recent legislation like the Universal Access Law that provides access to legal counsel has had positive affect on the numbers.

An attorney for the Rent Stabilization Association a landlord advocacy group said that more than looking at the legal process, rent subsidy programs would help keep poeple in their homes and the entire process out of the courts.

The data shows that Norwood, Fordham, and Melrose had the most evictions.
