Aspiring actors work for years for a chance at the Great White Way. Not so for a young Bronxite. According to amNY, 10-year-old Winter Donnelly made her Broadway debut after attending several youth theater programs which included classes at Horace Mann in the Bronx.
The youngster also attended classes at the 92nd street Y on the Upper East Side, but her mother, Belinda Neumann says the diversity of the program – gathering students from the Bronx, Queens, Manhattan and more – is what made it an exceptional learning experience and give her a chance to make an early leap to the Broadway stage.
Winter now stars as young Elsa in Disney’s “Frozen” several times per week on Broadway.
