Inspired by marches after rapper Nipsey Hussle’s gun violence-related death in Los Angeles, the Gothamist reports that rival Bronx gangs showed unity in Sunday’s ‘Kings Stop Killing Kings’ march.

Reminiscent of when groups like the Black Spades and Ghetto Brothers came together for peace in the 1970s, this weekend the Latin Kings, Crips, and Bloods held hands tight for anti-violence.

According to ABC7 NY, the march launched from Fordham Road at Grand Concourse and incliuded anti-violence groups like Save Our Streets Bronx, and Release the Grip.
