BronxTalk – Who Gets to Play School Sports?

Are all public school students treated equally when it comes to access to athletics?  The guests on this week’s BronxTalk on BronxNet don’t think so.

Host Gary Axelbank interviewed administrators from the Urban Assembly Academy of Letters in the Bronx who contend the DOE has not taken their requests for athletic teams seriously and they point out disparities in who gets to play and who doesn’t.

The show also includes a clip of students airing their grievences.
