A nonprofit theater organization called Only Make Believe is bringing a theater program to disabled children in the Bronx. According to News 12 the Bronx, the Only Make Believe program will be at the Henry Ittleson Center in Riverdale for six weeks.

Only Make Believe caters specifically to children with disabilities or chronic illnesses. The organization’s website states their mission is to bring joy and inspiration to sick children. Their method is to bring professional actors to entertain the children with theater productions.

Three performance instructors will be at the Henry Ittleson Center gym to give the children acting exercises.

The first week of the program is already underway and the children have been busy acting out scenes and characters, engaging in theater games and playing with props.
