Veteran Tuskegee Airman and NYPD Detective Passes Away at 95

A veteran who served during the second World War, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War as part of the famed Tuskegee Airmen, the first black aviators in the United States armed services, has passed away according to NY1.

Floyd Carter Sr. was 95, and was one ot two of the legendary aviation group who lived in the Bronx (the late Roscoe Brown was the other).  He also worked for the NYPD for twenty-seven years.
