Wine and Movies in New Mott Haven Shop

News12 the Bronx has a feature on Bottle Bronx, a new wine shop at Canal Place and East 138th Street in Mott Haven that provides an assortment of wines and spirits from France, Spain, Italy, Greece, South Africa, Portugal. They also carry local wines.

But the real treat is more than just wine. They not only offer customers tastings every other Tuesday and Friday, they also provide free screenings of French films.

Samuel and Lenha Thaim, who are both French, said that the borough was an obvious choice because of its rich culture. Samuel said that while he was growing up in Europe, he knew that hip-hop originated in the Bronx. So when he found out that he could bring what he loved to the neighborhood, he knew it was a “no brainer.”
