Bronx Hunger Overwhelming Food Pantry

(Adobe Stock)

The BronxWorks food pantry in Morris Heights has been trying its hardest to feed residents, but according to PIX11 News, it needs at least $100,000 to keep the operation running.

The piece quotes clients who say they rely on the Bronx Works pantry and don’t know what they’d do without it. Bronx Works says that the funding would go toward the fundamental tasks of buying more food and adding staff to process it.
