Why Vegan Food Should Come to the Bronx

This would be a first for the Bronx! In this article by Feast Media, they argue that Plant Power, a vegan restaurant chain, should open up locations in the Bronx.

Considered a ‘Vegan McDonald’s’, the fast food chain announced that it would open up ten sites in areas where low-income families only have non-vegan options in the next three years.  It would seem that the Bronx could easily qualify.

The article advocates for Plant Power to establish itself in the Bronx, indicating that the borough is the poorest and unhealthiest in the city.

  1. There is a store in Manhattan selling Vegan smoothies. I love them. My husband said the other day that we would love having such a store in Riverdale. Is there any entrepreneur around who is interested? I hope so. You have two customers…guaranteed.
