There are no sufficient ways to say thank you to New York City’s first responders for everything they do to save lives every day. But Teddy Cars, The Barber Factory, and thisistheBronX banded together on Tuesday to give NYPD, FDNY, EMS, and the Red Cross their day. Councilmember Andy King was on hand, too, to present certificates in gratitude.
“This is all about community,” Teddy Cars General Manager Julio Batista said to the aseembled in front of The Barber Factory on Laconia Avenue. “We can never do enough to support, but we are going to try,”
After Tuesday’s event, Teddy Cars, the Bronx’ only Nissan dealer, offered first responders discounts on car purchases and special service supports. For their part, The Barber Factory provided discounted haircuts.
“We believe in supporting community as an important part of what The Barber Factory is all about,” Lebron said, “and what could be more important than recognizing the people who literally save lives in our community every single day. We love the men and women of the NYPD, FDNY, EMS and Red Cross and are thrilled to honor them today.”
