Think Again: Part of Harlem River Site Will be Parkland, Not Housing

The Real Deal reports that despite the original offer of converting the Pantheon Properties’ plot of land at 399 Exterior Street into another big residential development site, a portion of it, which is now owned by the City becaue of eminent domain, will become parkland.

According to the Real Deal, the park which has been called the ‘Lower Concourse Neighborhood Waterfront Park’ on paper, has been in the works since before the 2009 rezoning of its neighborhood. There’s no date for when the park will be completed.
