As a snowflake I could tumble and twist and dance down to earth.
I would start as a puffy wet accumulation
I would join my friends who want to see mother earth
They had heard about people gliding down a mountain on skis
And most importantly about children, who are waiting for us
They love to catch us with their mittens arms stretched out cheering
How wonderful to be wanted and causing such pleasure
Floating through the atmosphere full of anticipation what to find
So many snowflake friends around me wanting to find a place to land
Do I choose a tree branch or an open area or just a spot to accumulate?
Children love to build a snow man, others need a snow base to ski
I will be fulfilled when melting happily
